Hikers usually start at the Missouri Gulch trailhead, climbing Belford first before going to Oxford. The trails are marked and well-kept, but some parts need careful navigation as you get close to the summits. Seasonal changes like snow can affect trail conditions, making summer the best time to hike. Both peaks give stunning views of the Rocky Mountains, rewarding those who summit.
